Enjoy L.A. - Eat Out More Often! - Firehouse since 1967

If you like gyros you'll love Firehouse. The only gyro I've tried that bested it was Papa Cristos/C&K Importing, but that is the ONLY one. Firehouse has a lot of things going for it that Papa Cristo's doesn't: no-hassle parking, non-rushed environment, rice pilaf on the side and (selfishly) its closer to home. The portions are large and everything that accompanies the 'plate' is delicious - the aforementioned meat and pilaf, along with salad, tzatziki and soft pita.
